Wedding: May 2019
I can't believe it has been a year since this wonderful wedding already! Julie & Karl's had their ceremony at the Rugby School chapel and the reception at St Andrew's RFC. The morning started at Julie's sister's house, where they had their make-up done by the lovely Suzie Gee.
The ceremony chapel at Rugby School was breathtaking - what a beautiful place to get married! The grounds are equally as stunning and made the perfect backdrop for couple portraits.
After a drinks reception, confetti tunnel and group photos at Rugby School it was then a short drive to St Andrew's Rugby clubhouse in Hillmorton. The room was decorated beautifully and Julie had been really busy with lots of DIY decor. There was lots of green succulents, copper and gold - it had a botanical feel to the day. The amazing wedding cake was made by Karl's sister, Amy (who has also booked me to photograph her wedding later in the year. I can't wait!) Some of the decor like the post box, light up LOVE letters and cake stand were hired from Wildflower Styling.
The speeches were fantastic and you always know the best men have taken their role very seriously when a PowerPoint presentation comes out! It was full of lots of embarrassing Karl related content and got everyone laughing.
The evening reception started with cake cutting and first dance, before everyone joined Wildflowerthe couple on the dancefloor to dance away the night. I loved photographing Julie and Karl's relaxed wedding and I'm pleased to share their day below...
